Belk Store Opening & Merchant Policy

This policy explains eligibility, approval, operating, fulfillment, customer-service and risk-control requirements for Belk merchants.

Submitting an application confirms that your information is accurate, that you understand the platform dropshipping model and that you agree to platform review and ongoing merchant rules.

1. Eligibility and account requirements

Applicants must provide accurate identity, contact and address information and must not use false, forged or third-party identity materials.

The applicant is responsible for account security and store management.

2. Store approval

Submitting an application does not automatically grant merchant status. The platform may approve, request more information, return or reject an application.

Merchant Center and store-management access are enabled only after approval.

3. Platform operating model

Belk uses a platform-supply and dropshipping model. Merchants select products while the platform coordinates inventory, procurement, packing, logistics and fulfillment.

4. Products, inventory and pricing

Core product data, SKU, shared inventory, unified retail price and logistics information are maintained by the platform. Merchants may not alter restricted core data.

5. Listing and delisting

Normally, merchant-listed products may be voluntarily delisted only after 60 days. The platform may suspend or remove products earlier for compliance, supply, quality, inventory or customer-protection reasons.

6. Procurement and profit model

Merchant gross profit primarily comes from the difference between sale price and actual procurement cost. Estimated profit is informational only and may change due to refunds, after-sales, logistics issues, merchant level or financial adjustments.

7. Merchant levels and procurement benefits

Merchant levels may be based on valid cumulative recharge, operating performance and platform rules. Higher levels may receive more favorable procurement pricing or other benefits.

8. Orders, funds and settlement

Merchants must maintain sufficient procurement funds. The platform may debit, freeze, release, settle or adjust amounts according to order status. Off-platform payment arrangements are prohibited.

9. Logistics and fulfillment

Orders are normally fulfilled through Belk or designated supply-chain and logistics systems. Merchants may not self-ship or provide false tracking information.

10. After-sales and customer service

Merchants must handle reasonable cancellation, refund, return, refusal, logistics and dispute requests under platform rules and communicate professionally with customers.

11. Prohibited conduct and account controls

Fraud, identity misuse, fake transactions, money laundering, IP infringement, customer-data abuse, off-platform diversion and interference with platform systems are prohibited. The platform may restrict, suspend, freeze or terminate offending stores or accounts.

12. Identity data, privacy and policy updates

Identity documents are used for review, risk control, account security, compliance and dispute handling. Policy updates may be communicated through Merchant Center, in-product notices or announcements.

13. Merchant acknowledgement

By submitting the application, the applicant confirms they have read and understood these rules and accepts normal commercial and operational risks.

14. Fulfillment timeliness and store responsibility

Merchants must monitor orders and cooperate with order processing, customer communication and exception handling.

If merchant-caused delays or failure to cooperate causes complaints, refunds, disputes or reputational harm, the platform may warn, restrict functions, pause order intake, freeze the store, suspend product sales or funds and require remediation.

If fulfillment performance remains below the platform minimum during a continuous 30-day period, or serious delays and abnormal after-sales issues recur, the platform may review and terminate store privileges.

Existing obligations for orders, refunds, after-sales and disputes remain in force after suspension or removal.
